Art
Racket is a Canberra based art & design studio that specialises in web projects that combine a high level of design and attention to detail with forward facing technical solutions.
Paul Mosig is the lead designer and developer for the studio. Before co-founding Racket in 2005, he was the lead designer and developer for the Department of Health and the lead web designer for the National Library of Australia. He was invited to join the international jury for Awwwards, which is one of the premiere showcase sites for web best practice in the world, a position he held for two years.
Rachel Peachey is the art director and project manager of Racket. She is also an accomplished photographer, recently being a finalist in the National Photographic Portrait Prize.
Parallel to our design practice we are also multi-media visual artists who exhibit together throughout Australia and globally as Peachey & Mosig.
Process &
Expertise
For over 15 years we have worked extensively in arts, media, hospitality and independent retail sectors. We have designed and built websites ranging from simple landing pages to complex e-commerce sites with large inventory, POS integration and multiple warehouses. These sites are always completely custom from the art direction, design through to the website coding and functionality, every element is tailored to the projects aesthetic and technical needs.
We personally have a wide range of technical and creative skills and to compliment this we have a network of specialist coders, SEO experts, illustrators and videographers who we can work with if the project requires.
We also have experience in a wide range of other industries that have very specific needs. This includes the government sector, which often specifies high level accessibility standards, design systems within strict branding guidelines and significant user testing.
